These terms apply when you join Gaon Radio as a Vendor (farmer, artisan, women's self-help group, or other producer).
1. Onboarding
- You apply via the Vendor Registration form. Our team reviews and either approves, requests more info, or rejects with reason.
- Approval usually takes 2 business days.
- We may ask for verification (PAN, ID proof, bank/UPI details) before your first payout.
2. Listing products
- All products must be approved by our team before going live on the shop.
- You're responsible for accuracy: product descriptions, weight, photos, freshness claims.
- We may reject listings that look misleading, unsafe, or don't fit our 'fresh from village' positioning.
3. Pricing & commission
- You set the listed price for each product.
- Gaon Radio retains a platform commission (default 10%, may vary by category) on each sale.
- Customers pay through Razorpay; you receive payouts after the commission and any platform fees are deducted.
4. GST & invoicing
Gaon Radio (Yatharthvadi Foundation) issues all customer invoices under our single GSTIN. Vendors are not required to be GST-registered. For tax purposes, your sales are bookkept as supplies to the platform.
5. Order fulfilment
- Pack orders within 48 hours of receiving them.
- Use clean, food-safe packaging.
- Hand off to India Post / our partner courier within the agreed window.
- Late or repeated quality issues may result in suspension.
6. Payouts
- Payouts are processed weekly to your registered UPI / bank account.
- Minimum payout threshold: ₹500.
- Refunds claimed by customers reduce the corresponding payout.
7. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for repeated quality issues, customer complaints, fraud, or violation of these terms. You can appeal via support@gaonradio.com.
8. Re-applying after rejection
If your initial application is rejected, you may re-apply after addressing the issues mentioned in the rejection email. Use the same email and we'll see your prior application history.
